The Spur Hwy and the church has not been plowed as of 8:30 and the roads are pretty bad with the snow drifts. We will have a prayer service at 11 for those that brave the storm and come in, we would like to encourage all our members to use discretion and consider not coming in this morning.

Last year for Shoeboxapalooza we filled 143 boxes. It was so much fun and such a blessing. Please join us November 10 at 2pm in the Fellowship Hall to see how many boxes filled with Love we can get this time! Just look at that wall! It's #YUUUUUGE!

Shoebox item collecting was another YUUUGE success this year, and we plan to build a wall of shoeboxes bigger than ever - but there's just one thing: FAKE NEWS sources have said that the VBS kids will be paying for the wall of boxes and that simply isn't the whole truth. We need your help to make sure every box has the $9 for shipping attached to it. Last year we shipped 164 fully funded boxes, this year we are looking at sending just as many if not more so. The VBS kids gave us a great head start on shipping costs, but we're still short (SAD!). There are red envelopes in the back of the chairs in the sanctuary as well as the OCC table located in the back. Please consider donating a few dollars to make sure we are fully funded when it comes time to send them on their way. *This video is done with humor and should not be taken seriously as an endorsement of any particular political party or agenda. Be a child's valentine, and fill a shoebox! This month's item is filler items. Filler items are those small items that can fill in all of the nooks and crannies of a box to make sure that the shoebox is packed to the gills with LOVE. Playdoh, small cars, yo-yos! Sometimes the toys in the shoebox are the only toys a child will ever receive, so we want to make sure every kid gets as many as we can fit (and then some!). As always, no war related items, please, and make sure that no food items or liquid. Valetine's Day is coming up and afterwards there should be a LOT of little love filled gifts to be had a GREAT bargain prices. Be sure to follow our page to make sure you find out all about the sales around town!

Thanks to your amazing giving, we were able to pack 155 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child in 2017. We're back again for another year of collection! Check back on our facebook page often to see what deals we've found locally as well as other ideas to make collection extra fun! Make sure to pay attention to the items of the month, we're tweaking what we're collecting in bulk, but all items we took in last year are still greatly needed! Comment below with how many boxes you think should be our goal THIS year!

Merry Christmas!

Well, fellow shoe box packers, we are officially closed as a drop-off location. We saw a total of 349 shoe boxes pass through our church this week. That is 349 kids who will be blessed!! As a church we officially sent out 158 shoe boxes! Just 6 boxes short of our highest goal!! 😲 a big thank you to everyone who volunteered this week in so many different ways! Time to start collecting for next year!! Be looking for our next video, coming soon!! 🎉🎉🎉
